Here is some philosophy:
If here is relative to there, and there never changes, that means that time there stands still. And if time doesn't move there, then time is only relative to here. So no matter how much time you spend here, it's going to stay the same there. Does that mean that Amador County is moving at the speed of light, and hence the breakdown of the space-time continuum? Or maybe it's just so bass-ackwards that it never catches up.
That is why I love to hate that podunk-one-horse county (it's pretty, though: you just have to ignore the rednecks, yuppie skiers, and just about everyone). -
